We offer Girls only teams in divisions U-10, U-12
and U-14.

We offer U-6 soccer (for 4K and 5K students) in
spring only.
Registration for the 2009 U-6 Spring session will

be published in the local papers.
Co-ed U-8 and Co-ed U-10 play all games at QQO in
Plymouth.
All other recreational divisions play within the
Lakeshore District area (Cedar Grove, Howards Grove,
Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, & Plymouth).
All teams have games on Saturdays and one
practice per week.
The Fall season begins in September and the
Spring season begins in April.
Practice days/times are determined by the coach
in August, after the teams are established.
It is not possible to request a team based on the
practice schedule.
The fall season and spring season schedules will
be distributed to teams prior to the start of each
season, and they will be posted on our website as soon
as possible.
Any game cancellations are announced through our phone
line, 892-PYSA (7972).
If games are cancelled, individual teams can
arrange to make-up the game if desired by contacting the
opposing team, contacting QQO for field availability,
and contacting our Referee Coordinator, for assigning a
referee.
PYSA does not plan to schedule make-up games for the
entire organization.
Recreational Teams are formed through a computer
program.
Siblings within the same division will be placed on the
same team unless otherwise requested.
Volunteer coaches will have their own child(ren)
on their team (if the appropriate division) unless

Select
Soccer Details
Select soccer is for those players that want to develop
their technical skills and abilities, become a more
complete soccer player, and understand the importance of
teamwork while competing against higher level
competitive teams. Select soccer develops the
complete player so they learn to play
possession-oriented soccer within a team environment.
Players who are capable of playing in this manner will
continue to play at higher levels at the club
level, high school and possibly college. Generally, 80%
to 100% of high school soccer team starters played
select soccer.
Players must try-out to be part of a Select
Soccer team.
Select Soccer try-outs are open to ALL PLAYERS
who wish to participate.
Try-outs
will be held on May 28, 29, & 30 at the Toro Soccer
Fields (off corner of Hwy 57 & PP).
The Boys’ tryouts will be held from 5:30 - 7:00
pm and the Girls’ tryouts will be from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Select Soccer Teams/Divisions are determined by the
number of players who participate successfully in
try-outs.
Select soccer players are evaluated by coaches to
determine whether they have the ability to play at the
select level. Player selection is at the discretion of
the coach and not every player who tries out is
guaranteed a place on a select team.
Select practices are held twice a week with games
on the weekends.
Games are played at QQO as well as in the
Milwaukee area and surrounding communities.
Carpooling with other players and families is
standard for the Select Soccer level and although
parents are encouraged to attend games, it is not
required.
Even
if you plan to try-out for Select Soccer, you must first
register through our Recreational Soccer Program via
on-line or in-person registration.
If you are chose to be part of a Select Soccer
Team, your recreational registration fee will be applied
to your Select Soccer fees.
Select Soccer fees can range from $100 - $200 per
year and will vary depending on the equipment and
supplies that are required by the team, as well as the
number of tournaments in which the team elects to
participate. Corporate sponsorships and fund
raising activities help defer Select Soccer costs.
Parents of Select Soccer teams are not required
to volunteer through PYSA, so if your child is selected
to be part of a Select Soccer team, you will not be
obligated to fulfill your volunteer choice unless you
also have children in the recreational soccer program.
Select parents may be asked to support the select
team in fundraising activities, however.
Questions related to Select Soccer may be directed to
our Select Coordinator.
